I started modern dance when I was 6 years old, and was a student at the same dance school throughout my childhood, qualifying as a teacher there after my sixth form years.

For the first 7 years of my career I worked there, and set up private dance clubs at primary schools in my area, which enabled me to get more involved in provision of dance tuition to local children.  When I moved to Oxfordshire in 2017, I was delighted to join the Elite Dance team.

Good dance classes encourage our children to grow in confidence.  We praise them for their progress and help them to learn new skills in a supportive environment.

Our children and young people are in an education system where they are measured against academic targets.  Elite’s dance classes offer a safe space for them to leave the worry of school behind, and to find a way to release their stress and to keep fit at the same time.

Pastoral care is important to us, and it is a privilege to be involved in the emotional and physical development of the students at the school.  We hope all our dancers have fun and benefit from progressing through the school into the role models the little ones look up to, just as we have done.
