Dear Dance families,
I am delighted to announce after careful consideration and research we have been given the go ahead to offer outdoor, socially distant dance classes. In line with government guidance we must only meet in groups of no more than 6 and be 2 meters apart in line with social distancing rules.
We will be utilising the outdoor space at our current location and will have open-side marquees to shield us from light showers and the sun. I have attached a proposed timetable of classes which will be effective from Monday 15th June.
For classes of a larger size students will be split into sets and will rotate one week on, one week off as to who attends physical classes and who follows along at home via Zoom. For those who are required to continue to shield and for those who are perhaps not yet comfortable with attending outdoor group activities, online Zoom classes will still be available but with the new times on our timetable.
Due to the strict class size numbers, physical class places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and you must return the attached form to secure your class space no later than Saturday 13th June.
To ensure we meet the requirements for smaller classes, the provision of hand sanitation and equipment required, our class prices will switch to a new fee structure from 1st July. Class prices have not increased however our discounts have been streamlined to ensure we can cover our costs but keep our prices competitive.
Please be advised that students undertake classes at their own risk and whilst our comprehensive insurance covers the delivery of classes outdoors; the inability of physically being able to correct children does increase the risk of injury slightly.
Please be sure to read the guidelines below which must be adhered to, which will enable us to offer classes in this setting.
I hope you are as excited as we are to get back to physical classes and hopefully this is a positive step forward to a new ‘normal’ for us all.
Thank you again for all your support over these past few months we are so grateful to have you as a part of our Elite family,
With Best wishes,
Hayley and The Elite Team
